What's your kitchen today?
Typical price bands
Kitchen pricing depends on cabinetry, counters, appliances, and whether walls move. Most of our Chicagoland projects fall into one of three bands:
Refresh & update
Often $15k–$35k+
Counters, backsplash, paint, lighting, and hardware in the existing layout. Our projects start around $20k.
Full remodel
Often $35k–$75k+
New cabinetry, quartz or stone counters, appliances, flooring, and a proper lighting plan. The most common Chicagoland scope.
Gut & layout change
Often $75k–$150k+
Walls moved, island added, custom cabinetry, premium appliances, designer selections. A full rebuild of the room you cook in.
We take on projects starting around $20k. If your budget is well below these bands, we're probably not the right fit. Researching first? Read the Chicago kitchen remodel cost guide.
How a kitchen project runs
Delays, surprise costs, and contractors who stop communicating show up constantly in Chicagoland reviews. The five steps below are how we keep those from becoming your kitchen remodel.
1. Free in-home consultation
We walk the kitchen together, talk layout, cabinets, and how you cook and host.
2. Design & written proposal
You get a clear scope, a written proposal with options, and a milestone payment schedule. Never a large upfront deposit. Changes only happen through a written change order you approve first.
3. Permits handled for you
Chicago-area permits and inspections are on us, including electrical and plumbing sign-offs. You never chase the city.
4. Build with a dedicated project lead
One person owns your project and keeps you updated on a set cadence. Dust protection, daily cleanup, and a plan for living without your kitchen as briefly as possible.
5. Walkthrough & workmanship warranty
We do a final walkthrough together and stand behind the work in writing after we leave.
Designed around how you cook, host, and gather
Design that reduces overwhelm
Cabinet lines, counters, hardware, lighting: kitchen selections multiply fast. We curate choices and visualize the direction before you commit, so decisions feel clear instead of endless.
A schedule you can plan life around
Losing your kitchen is the hardest part of any remodel. Your written proposal includes a realistic timeline, and we stage demolition so you're without a working kitchen as briefly as possible.

Kitchen remodeling questions, answered straight
- How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Chicago?
- Most Chicagoland kitchens fall into three bands: cosmetic refreshes often run $15k–$35k+, full remodels $35k–$75k+, and gut renovations with layout changes $75k–$150k+. A site visit is the only way to price your home accurately.
- How long will we be without a kitchen?
- A full kitchen remodel typically runs 6–10 weeks of construction after design and permits, and a gut with layout changes can run longer. We stage the work to keep a temporary kitchen setup usable as long as possible, and your written proposal includes a realistic schedule.
- Can we live at home during the remodel?
- Almost everyone does. We seal the work zone with dust barriers, protect floors and paths, clean up daily, and help you plan a temporary kitchen so the disruption stays contained.
- Do I need a permit to remodel my kitchen?
- If the project touches plumbing, electrical, or walls, yes in most Chicagoland municipalities. We handle the permit process and inspections as part of every project.
